About Riley Showler
This could get long, but I’ll try to keep it short!
My name is Riley, and I’m on my own lifelong fitness journey. I’ve been involved in sports my entire life and have been weightlifting in the gym since high school.
Almost four years ago, I went through the biggest transformation of my life. I left an abusive marriage at 230 lbs with my one-year-old son, and for the first time, I began focusing on myself. I joined a group fitness gym, started working with a nutritionist, and made small, sustainable changes that helped me lose 40 lbs in six months.
As I worked on rebuilding my mental health, I started running three years ago. In my first year, I ran four half marathons. My second year brought three 50Ks, and this year I completed my first Ironman 70.3. Next year, I have my sights set on a 100K.
Along the way, I discovered that I love pushing my body, challenging myself, and finding out what I’m truly capable of—and I never plan on stopping.
My goal as a personal trainer is to show other women just how capable they truly are. I’m a single mom, endurance athlete, and NASM Certified Personal Trainer who has lost 70 lbs naturally and rebuilt my relationship with fitness through strength, running, and endurance training.
I specialize in personalized programming for strength, conditioning, endurance, and mobility, tailored to your goals. I’m here to support you through sustainable weight loss, progressive programming, accountability, and coaching.
I want to work with women who are ready to rediscover themselves—their strength, their confidence, their beauty, and their POWER. Whether you’re postpartum, navigating a major life change, looking for a challenge, or simply ready to grow, I’m here to help you discover just how much your body is capable of.
Let’s discover your new you, together.
Experience & Background
I’ve been involved in athletics my entire life, and from a young age I played just about every sport in the book. I went on to compete collegiately in swimming, diving, and water polo.
Today, I’m an ultramarathon runner with my sights set on my first 100K next spring. I’ve also been training for triathlons and completed my first Ironman 70.3 this past July.
I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and am currently working toward a nutrition certification. I’ve coached developmental downhill ski teams, swim teams, and group fitness, giving me experience working with athletes and individuals across a wide range of abilities and goals.
I’ve also personally lost 70 lbs naturally while maintaining my muscle mass. I achieved that through small, realistic changes because I wasn’t looking for another quick fix—I wanted sustainable changes I could maintain for life. Coming from a history of disordered eating and years of trying and struggling with fad diets, I knew that strict cuts and extremes weren’t the answer for me. I chose a different approach focused on consistency, strength, and building habits I could actually live with.
That experience has shaped the way I coach today: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. I want to help people find a way to train, eat, and live that supports their goals while still being sustainable for their actual lives.
