Alex Barrett

Alex Barrett is a 9-year NFL veteran and the founder of Barrett Performance. A defensive end who played for the Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers, Alex brings firsthand knowledge of what it takes to train, perform, and compete at the highest level of professional football. After nearly a decade in the NFL, Alex built Barrett Performance to make that elite athlete methodology available to everyone — not just professional athletes. His mission: raise the standard of training in Folsom and help every client unlock performance they never knew they had.

9-Year NFL Veteran | Defensive End NFL Career: • San Francisco 49ers (2019–2024) • Oakland Raiders (2019) • Detroit Lions (2017–2018) Alex entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions in 2017. He went on to spend the bulk of his professional career with the San Francisco 49ers, competing at the highest level of professional football for 9 years before founding Barrett Performance.
