You’ve been training in Rocklin long enough to know what you’re missing. GForce is the facility Johnson-Springview residents drive to when the local options stop being enough.
9580 Oak Ave Pkwy, Folsom — ~20 min via I-80 — Open Every Hour, Every Day
The Johnson-Springview corridor is one of Rocklin’s most established neighborhoods — families near the Springview school cluster, long-term residents who have watched this city grow for years. People who know Rocklin’s offerings inside out, including the gyms.
And that’s the thing about this community: most of the people who find GForce from Johnson-Springview have already been through the local options. They joined the chain gym off Sunset Blvd, trained there for a year, plateaued. Tried the next one. Same result — not from lack of effort, but because the equipment depth, the programming knowledge, and the training environment were capped at a certain level.
“I trained at two different Rocklin gyms for three years. When I tried GForce for the first time I realized what I had been working around. The difference in equipment alone changed what was possible in my training.”
GForce is 20 minutes from Johnson-Springview via I-80 East — less during off-peak hours. Our Rocklin gym page covers the full picture of what GForce offers Rocklin residents, but the short version for Johnson-Springview: you have the experience to know what a real facility feels like. Come see it.
The frustration of waiting for the only good rack, working around equipment that is “out of service,” or making do with a limited dumbbell selection ends. GForce is stocked for serious training — multiple rack stations, full cable setups, specialty equipment you will not find at the Rocklin chains.
If you have been running your own training for years, our coaching staff can audit your program and identify where you are leaving progress on the table. If you want a fresh start with structured programming, they build it from scratch. Either way, you stop guessing.
Johnson-Springview residents who have been training for years are not looking for a beginner-friendly environment that treats everyone like they just walked in off the street. GForce members are consistent and serious. The culture respects the work, and it shows.
From the Johnson-Springview area, take Midas Ave or Johnson Ranch Rd to I-80 East. The freeway run to Folsom is about 13 miles to the East Bidwell exit. South on Bidwell, right on Oak Ave Pkwy — GForce is in Folsom Village on the right. About 20 minutes from most of the neighborhood, potentially less from the southern edge near the freeway on-ramp.
If you are used to driving to Sunset Blvd for a gym visit, the I-80 run to Folsom is not dramatically different in time — and what you get at the end is a completely different category of facility. Come for a free trial session and make the comparison yourself.
GForce works for both, but the facility is explicitly built to support serious training. Experienced lifters will find the equipment depth, rack availability, and coaching knowledge they have been looking for. You are not going to walk in and feel like you are training around a beginner-oriented setup — the floor is designed for real work. Beginners are welcome too, but the facility does not dumb itself down to accommodate them.
That is one of the most common requests we get from experienced Johnson-Springview trainees. Our coaching staff can do a one-time program audit, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and either fix them or hand the program back to you to run independently. You do not have to commit to ongoing personal training — though many people who start with a review end up continuing because they find the coaching genuinely useful.
Yes. The Johnson-Springview corridor is one of our more established Rocklin member groups — residents who have been in the area for years, trained at the local options, and eventually made the switch to GForce. The pattern is consistent: they join for the equipment, stay for the environment and coaching. If you want to hear directly from other Rocklin members, come in for a free trial and meet the community.
Evenings (6–8pm) are moderately active — busy but not crowded in the way large chain gyms get. Weekends are generally lighter, with the Saturday morning window being the most popular time. Because GForce is 24 hours, many members have found off-peak times that work well for their schedule. Early morning (5–7am) and mid-day are consistently low-traffic. Call us at (916) 542-6732 if you want specifics on timing before your trial visit.
Experienced Rocklin lifters make the switch to GForce and do not look back. One free session is all it takes to see why.
